Catella Corporate Finance Sweden offers a wide range of services and property, as well as financial expertise focused on transactional advice in the professional property and financing market. The range of services is based on offering those services which best serve our clients’ property-related goals.

Catella acts as project manager and optimises transactions in cooperation with external partners in relation to tax, accounting and legal issues. Thanks to its large volume of business, strong track record and extensive network of contacts, Catella possesses sound knowledge of the market including potential investors and their preferences.

In cases of cross border transactions covering several markets in addition to the Swedish market, Catella puts together tailor-made international teams for each individual project. These teams consist of employees from the relevant countries with in-depth local market knowledge combined with the ability to implement transactions and sound capital market knowledge.

Property-related transactions

Catella offers services and expertise in all types of property-related transactions, such as company and portfolio transactions, single assets as well as sale and leaseback transactions, development projects and conversions of rental properties into tenant-owned properties.

Capital market transactions

Catella initiates and participates in stock market-related transactions, for example IPOs, new share issues and acquisitions of listed companies. Catella also offers advice in conjunction with the creation of new property companies and capital raisings on behalf of unlisted property companies.

Debt advisory services

Catella offers financing advice in conjunction with acquisitions and/or refinancing in property-related transactions in order to identify the optimal financing structure for the client. Catella also offers financing advice regarding the establishment of fixed income and hedging strategies for companies, as well as in conjunction with specific property transactions. Catella also assists in establishing a financial policy.

As a complement to Catella's current debt advisory services, Nordic Fixed Income was launched in August 2011. Nordic Fixed Income is an independent fixed income house focusing on corporate bonds. The business idea is to offer fixed income solutions to Nordic borrowers and investors, with the aim of always delivering a better fixed income solution. Through trading in, inter alia, treasury, housing and corporate bonds, Nordic Fixed Income has day-to-day contact with Swedish and international institutional investors.

Distressed property situations

Catella carries out strategic reviews for lenders and borrowers and acts as adviser in recapitalisations of companies through asset sales, refinancings, capital raisings, debt conversion and renegotiations of loan agreements.

Strategic advisory services

Catella offers strategic portfolio advice regarding the allocation and structuring of the clients’ current or prospective property portfolio. Catella's research team also produces independent reports within various property segments and/or geographical areas and offers analysis documentation and reports for clients based on their needs and when specifically requested. Focus is often placed on describing key drivers for future development and trends. As a rule, the analysis is tailor-made to the client's specific needs.
